How do I register for an AS in business, AS in IT or AA Internship?
Answer
- Ensure that you meet the prerequisite requirements for the internship course you are considering by reading the course description in the catalog.
- Complete an Internship Request form in Career Services and submit a current resume by deadline dates of March 15 for summer term, October 15 for spring term and June 15 for fall term.
- Look for available internship positions in job search sites.
- Interview with possible internship sites and, if accepted, have the employer sign the Acceptance form and submit to to Career Services office for a letter giving you permission to register for the internship course.
- Receive course syllabus from instructor.
- Keep timesheets and follow course instructions.
